Canary Islands International Test Site for small and wind turbines was born from an idea to make certification less expensive whilst also removing the “mystery” of the certification process.

The plan gained the support of the local government who made land available in an excellent location with high annual wind speeds on the island of Tenerife

Test To 61400-2 (small wind) and 61400-1 (Turbines with swept area > 200M2)

The test site is able to test small wind to 61400-2 and medium and large wind to 61400-1
